E2 Auto script
Root Hosting is supported on E2 Devices
Here is an easy to follow tutorial that will show you how to run our E2 script
IMPORTANT READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS FIRST BEFORE RUNNING THE SCRIPT
EPG importer is pre-installed on some images.
First Open Putty, and in the IP address box enter the enigma2 box IP address, and then click open
And then login using the word, root
If you have set a password enter this when prompted
Now all you need to do is use the generator to produce your Putty command from the following URL
Your command copied to clipboard means all you need to do is paste the script into Putty, right click in the putty window and then script should appear.
Then press enter, this will then start the install, which will then restart the box automatically once it has run.
If the script does not work or hangs on certain stages, something is wrong in the script
Most common issues with the script not running properly are;
EPG Importer is not installed on your box
The image on the box is old and does not support wget https (update image)
After the reboot, you will now have to go to your plugin menu; you will now see an IPTV Bouquet Maker Plugin
Please navigate to the providers section and check your details are correct.
Navigate back to the main page and select run.
After it has ran select configure and set Automatic bouquet update to yes
Once saved it will take you to the next screen below, click the yellow manual option and that will scan all the options you have just ticked to your attached HDD or USB.
You can also set it to automatically import the EPG and scan daily by enabling and setting the time, you want it to start scanning.
For boxes with no built in hard drive and boxes that seems to lose the EPG data on reboot, I recommend the following settings
Start import after booting up > always
